Storm tore up your roof? Get a free inspection, a photo-documented damage report, and emergency tarping if water’s still getting in — usually before your insurance company has picked up the phone.
About Storm Repairs
Northwest Louisiana sits right in the path. Heavy rain, hail, straight-line wind, the occasional tornado — it all comes through here, and it all ends up on somebody’s roof. Blue Note Pros has been patching, tarping, and rebuilding those roofs across Shreveport since 2020.
What Should You Do Immediately After a Storm Damages Your Roof?
Stay off the roof and walk the yard instead. Granules washed into the gutter, bent flashing, or shingles in the grass are all worth a call. From there we handle the climbing, which is the part most people are glad to hand off.
Our free damage assessment covers every slope: wind uplift along the ridgelines, hail bruising across the field. If it’s open to the weather, emergency tarping goes on to protect the structural framing underneath.
Insurance Claim Assistance
Usually, yes. Most policies treat wind and hail as a covered casualty loss, though what gets paid depends on your deductible and the age of the roof. Blue Note Pros is not a public adjuster, so we can’t interpret your policy or file the insurance claim for you. What we can do is hand you a dated, photo-documented damage report, explain what your adjuster’s Xactimate scope is describing, and be on the roof when they come out to look.
Financing
Insurance money moves slowly. Water doesn’t. Blue Note Pros offers financing through Wisetack on storm repairs and full replacements alike, so the work can start while the paperwork catches up.
Hassle-Free Repairs
When Shay got into roofing, every company in town wanted to sell a full replacement. Nobody would do leak repairs, so he taught himself. That’s still how it works here: a storm rarely ruins a roof evenly, and you can often fix a few failure points and keep the roof you have.
How Do You Identify Hail Impact on Shingles?
Hail bruising looks like scattered dark, round dents where granules have been knocked loose, usually worst on the slope that faced the storm.
Our Inspection Process
We start inside and look up. Water stains, damp insulation, or daylight through the structural framing tell us plenty before we touch the roof.
Then we trace the damage to its source, where water gets in, and where it travels. Often it’s several small problems, not one big one.
Every impact mark, lifted shingle, and split seam gets photographed and dated. That record is yours, and it’s what insurance will want.
You get a free, itemized estimate separating what needs repair from what needs replacement. No mystery line items.
You approve it, we get to work, and your roof goes back to being something you don’t think about.

That’s one we don’t do. We’ll tell you straight rather than string you along.
Our labor warranty runs one year on repairs and five years on full replacements.
